Learning and Evidence

The home for the research, evaluations and learning that tell us what is working, and what is not.

What this section will hold

The evidence behind the work

As our programmes run, this section will gather the studies, evaluations and learning that hold us accountable.

Research and evaluations

Independent and internal studies, including the LEAP Phase 1 quasi-experimental evaluation.

Evidence briefs

Short, readable summaries of what the evidence says, and what it means for practice.

Learning reports

What we learn as we deliver, including the fortnightly briefs that drive our improvement loop.

Pilot findings

Baseline, midline and endline results from ConnectEd, and Phase 0 proof of concept from LEAP.

Why it matters

Evidence is our discipline

We earn the right to grow by proving what works first. This section is how we keep that promise in public.

Evidence before scale

We expand on evidence, at explicit decision gates, not on optimism.

Honest about results

We report what we can show, attribute every figure, and never claim results before they exist.

A public good

Homegrown evidence that government, funders and other implementers can build on.

What to expect

How this will work

When it is live, Learning and Evidence will be organised so you can find what you need and trust what you read.

  1. Organised clearly

By programme, by type and by status, so current and forthcoming work is easy to tell apart.

  2. Updated each term

New findings publish as pilots reach their milestones, each with a clear date and source.

  3. Connected

Linked to the Theory of Change Explorer and the Resource Library, so evidence sits next to the logic it tests.

In preparation

Learning and Evidence is being prepared

There is nothing to overstate here yet. As ConnectEd completes its first cycle and LEAP moves into its evaluated pilot, this section will fill with findings you can rely on. Below is what is already on the way.

Statuses shown are honest: forthcoming, in development or planned. No results are reported before they exist.
